Test out your birding skills and join Ocean Connectors on a two-hour guided biking and bird watching tour around the San Diego Bay National Wildlife Refuge. Bikers ride along the Bayshore Bikeway with local experts pointing out key sights and sharing fascinating information about native and migratory bird species. \n\n\nThis Eco Tour provides an active way to observe the various migratory and resident species of birds that live in and around San Diego Bay. The tour runs approximately two hours and covers five miles on an out-and-back course along the Bayshore Bikeway\, a multi-use recreational pathway that encircles San Diego Bay. Guests depart from the San Diego Bay National Wildlife Refuge\, where they receive an introductory talk\, observe wildlife on Otay River\, and then bike together towards Emory Channel. The tour makes several stops along the way to bird-watch and discuss environmental policy and development considerations in the area. Bicycles\, helmets\, binoculars\, and field guides are included with this tour.
