Wetlands are our allies against climate change and natural disasters. They act as natural sponges, absorbing floodwaters and protecting our communities from flooding. Their vegetation and soil filter pollutants, improving water quality and creating healthier environments for us all.
Join us to help protect this vital habitat! Kayak into the wetlands of the South Bay and pick up litter from your kayak that would be otherwise unaccessible by foot. Each cleanup removes over 100 pounds of trash every time! We provide all kayak and cleanup equipment. Sign up today!
