Enjoy a personalized one-of-a-kind outdoor experience in beautiful San Diego. Tours are conducted in partnership with local businesses and are led by certified guides who are experts in marine science, recreation, and conservation.
Includes a two-hour guided kayaking tour inside the South San Diego Bay. Kayakers use field guides while observing wildlife as they paddle through the Chula Vista Wildlife Reserve with local experts leading the way.
Includes a three-hour guided brew tasting and bird watching tour around the San Diego Bay National Wildlife Refuge. Guests taste local brews and enjoy a guided birding walk or e-bike ride while wildlife experts identify local sights and bird species.
Includes a two-hour guided tidepooling tour around different spots of the San Diego intertidal. Guests use field guides as they explore the biodiverse rocky coast. Naturalist guides identify species and explain relevant marine science concepts.
Kayak and Stand Up Paddle Board tours (and more) in Mission Bay. Learn about the unique history of the bay, its ecosystems, and how recreation and conservation are teaming up! Perfect for beginners and offer a fun way to try something new, and get a fresh perspective.
From mid-December to April, join a Flagship cruise and witness the annual migration of gray whales. Guests can learn about the ocean ecosystem and enjoy live commentary while spotting wildlife.
Includes a two-hour guided tour at various scenic locations throughout San Diego County. Learn about wildlife, and the history of the land. Citizen Scientists engage in data collection, hands-on experiments, and species identification. Walks are family friendly and are offered at a variety of physical levels.
Engage and connect with the environment and community. Cleanup the wetlands via kayak, restore our native wetlands, participate in community festivals, and even learn to help make prizes for young ocean stewards. Embark on a sea turtle conservation expedition to Nayarit on Mexico’s Pacific coast, where you’ll actively contribute to protecting Olive Ridley Sea Turtles. Engage in nightly patrols to record data on nesting turtles and collect and relocate nests to a secure hatchery. Daytime activities include caring for nests, releasing hatchlings, and learning about sea turtle conservation.
