Sip on smooth nitro cold brew from Trident Coffee while learning how their values of connection, community, and character align with our conservation mission. Then head out on a guided morning walk along the Bayshore Bikeway at South San Diego Bay, binoculars and field guides in hand. 

As you explore this rich coastal habitat, watch black-necked stilts wading through the shallows, osprey scanning the water for fish, northern harriers gliding low over the marsh, and turkey vultures circling overhead. During the nesting season, terns add even more activity to the shoreline, and with a little luck, you may even spot the two flamingos that have made the bay their home! Along the way, we’ll also highlight native plants and the important role they play in supporting birds and the broader ecosystem.
