In March of 2022, founder Frances Lang moves to a position with The Ocean Foundation. Janaira Quigley a local educator and community activist joins as Executive Director.

In ‘January of 2023, Ocean Connectors joined the San Diego Tourism Authority’s DEIJ Accelerator. A program designed to promote tourism hospitality businesses owned by people of color, people with disabilities, LGBTQIA+, women, and veterans.
