Michael received his B.S. in Business Administration from Saint Mary’s College of California. Growing up in San Diego, Michael developed a passion for the Ocean at a young age as a Junior Lifeguard, and he has pursued this passion volunteering and organizing beach cleanups, community engagement events, and fundraisers. He is the founder of the Long Beach Trashers, a volunteer beach clean-up group based in Long Beach, CA. Building upon past Childhood Education experience with the Boys and Girls Club, he is excited to impart his enthusiasm for the Ocean and outdoors with the children in the Ocean Connectors program. This year, Michael plans to earn certifications in Open Water Scuba and Wilderness First Response.
