Whitney Cottersmith is a passionate environmentalist born and raised in San Diego County. Whitney received her Bachelor of Arts and Science in Mathematics and a Teaching Credential from San Diego State University, where she focused on after-school programming and math and science education. For 7 years, Whitney managed programs teaching technology in underserved communities through the San Diego Futures Foundation (SDFF). There she honed her skills coordinating education programs for all ages, and she currently teaches math for middle schools in San Diego County. She is a lifelong learner set on inspiring others to find a love of learning.
